Jaws The Shark has us hooked with his new single 'Erase Myself'

‘Erase Myself’ is the first single from Jaws The Shark’s upcoming debut EP, released through Nice Swan Records.

This 2 minute 12 second track possesses that magic formula that'll keep you wanting more. London-based Jaws the Shark (Olly Bailey) began releasing his work on this musical endeavour just over twelve months ago but is rapidly making his way onto our radars. After seeing Jaws the Shark live at Manchester’s YES, alongside English Teacher and Hallan, it was clear that stage presence is abundant and his vibrant, punchy tunes go down an absolute treat.

‘Erase Myself’ doesn’t take itself too seriously, with distorted vocals and a self-assured melody that provides us with that early noughties indie-rock feel that we all know and adore. It’s reminiscent of the music that would draw us down to our local venues as teens and get you dancing around your mate’s kitchen. The colourful music video accompanying the song perfectly sums up how it feels to listen to and I’m eager to see what the remainder of the EP has in store!
